How long can a finch egg go without a mother?

i found a nest that had been tipped over by a bad storm and the eggs fell out. 2 were cracked and 1 was fine. i kept that 1 and its at room temperature... how long can they go without heat and how warm do they need to be? its been with me for a few hours... help???
