I want to shave the side of my head, how can I hide it for an internship?

I want to shave cheetah/zebra print or a lightning bolt on the side of my head. I currently have a pixieish haircut. I have an internship, though, and I deal with many troubled adolescents. I don't think my advisors will appreciate it too much. What can I do to hide it? I thought of one of those HUGE headband things - but I don't know.
