Recipes using hamburger??
Peel and chop your carrots and onions, sautee the oniona few minutes in er or oil, add hamburger and sautee for another minute or two, then add beef stock and water to cover, bring to a simmer and leave there until the potatoes are done..15 minutes or so if you dice them. Add peas when the potatoes are almost done (check them with a fork) or a few minutes earlier if using frozen peas. Spices you might put in: Bay leaf, garlic, in, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, paprika, thyme. If you have some tomatoes, you could add them to your stew when you add the liquid.
