What's the best Neighborhood in Providence RI for a single 30s woman?

What would be the best neighborhood in Providence RI for a single woman in her mid 30s? I'm looking at the East Side, but don't want to end up with only college kids around. Likewise, I don't want to be among all families either..basically I'd be looking for other singles in their 30s, with professional jobs... Looking for suggestions on a specific neighborhood or area?
