What should I do about this guy? Please help? ?

Well I'm 26 and gay and well I have been dating this guy for 7 months just when things were starting to get serious he just disappeared one day and he never called me or texted me again i called his number and it said it was disconnected I even went to his apartment were he lived and well it was empty and I called his sister whom I was friends with and she told me o "Edgar went to go live to Chicago " Edgar was the name of the guy I was dating we live in Los Angeles ca so I was very surprised when his sister told me he left to Chicago his sister also couldnt believe it that he jus left without telling me she got really pissed off with her brother cuz she ***** believe it he did something like that to me . So she told me she was really sorry and all but I still can't help feeling like shyt :'( I feel bad cuz he just used me and I was really starting to like him and the thing that hurts the most is that he jus left without telling me :'( so how do I get over it?
