Would this irritate and bore you?

Having 7 different points of view wouldn't be boring, but it would definitely be irritating. it seems like these seven chapters will just provide...background information? if you're going to track the happenings of seven people, why not just write in limited third-person for the entire thing? changing POVs is bothersome, and jumping around is also bothersome, unless done tastefully...so be careful!
