All these eastern Europeans coming in, where are they flocking from?

That was Guillian Duffy's question to Gorden Brown, that was the reason he called her a bigot. I have thought about the question and i cannot figure out what the answer is? Could somebody please help me? Where do these eastern Europeans come from?
