Need help identifying a wild bird?

I just saw a bird at the feeder, and I've never seen it before. It had a brownish-red and stomach (about the color of a robin's) but it's head, back and feathers were solid, jet black. It was about twice the size of a finch, and it had a small, white dot on either side of its tail feathers. It's not an oriole, I don't think. Does anyone know what type of bird this is?
